My goal is not to be better than anyone else, but to be better than I used to be.
Wayne Dyer
My name is Sulabh Shroff. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my site. The name of this blog is my attempt at being funny. Rest assured, there’s plenty more where that came from.
A little bit about me…I am now in my 40’s, I am married with two young boys, ten and seven years old. Being a father has been one of the most profoundly rewarding, yet demanding, responsibilities in my lifetime.
My profession, which I consider myself blessed to be able to practice, is pediatric dentistry. Like any job, it has stressful moments, but I truly cannot see myself doing anything else for a living. My path to dentistry is a little unusual considering I initially majored in computer science in my early 20’s. Tech-savvy now? I am not.
Now four decades into life, I have started a family, settled into a career, survived a behemoth of student loan debt, experience a slew of age-related health issues, and suffer a constant anxiety and depression over the condition and issues facing our world.
Between family and career, I think pretty much all my time throughout the day is accounted for. Admittedly, I do not really partake in any social media – frankly, it scares me. However, as I get older, I am coming to realize opening up to new experiences, initiating and sharing dialogue with others, and keeping on a path of self-discovery is all vital to living our best life.
In all honesty, this blog is set out to be a means of catharsis; yes, a way to vent frustrations, but also sharing openly about new endeavors and experiences, a chance to research and learn about new things, and hopefully interacting with an audience that relates and is receptive to similar on-goings within their own lives.
I will not have a traditional blog. I simply would like to make this a forum for discussing different happenings and topics of interest within my life. I have no desire to sell products, I have no proclamation for expertise in any (non-dental) areas, and I do not want to have to be politically (or even grammatically) correct about my posts. My apologies in advance for the randomness of my Blog categories.
I do, however, appreciate those taking the time to visit this site. I always welcome feedback and your perspective on my posts. Thanks again and let’s enjoy ourselves!
